Newborn Photography Studio Fareham getting ready for an exciting Spring launch. One of the things that I will always remember about being in lockdown in March 2020, was hearing the birds sing in the morning – the dawn chorus. It makes you feel so good and a feeling that spring is truly on its way. I’m really hoping that by spring, my lovely newborn photography studio at Cams Hall in Fareham will be back open . I just can’t wait to meet all those gorgeous little newborn babies.
Newborn babies – New Beginnings
Spring is a sign of new beginnings, and without a doubt, there’s nothing more special than a newborn baby being born. I’m so excited, I’ve got over 50 newborn/babies booked in the diary for April so certainly going to be busy. For those booked in and not born yet, I am so looking forward to hearing when they are born and meeting them.
During this lockdown, I’ve continued to keep myself busy by knitting gorgeous newborn photography props for my studio and newborn outfits. As my lovely previous parents know, I’ll ask you to pick your very own colour palette for your newborn photography session; and when I’m back open I can’t wait to launch a wonderful spring-lemon palette. I’ve booked in a few newborn models due in April into the studio to create some portfolio images. I do still have a few newborn model spaces available for May and June if you are interested.
There’s something quite refreshing about seeing the yellow flowers coming out of their bulbs in the gardens; sending warm encouragement that better weather is on its way. Getting out for more walks, or just enjoying relaxing in the garden makes us feel so happy.
Spring on the Farm
Being brought up on a farm, spring meant the lambing session was here. My sisters and I loved to help out the shepherd and feed some of the orphaned lambs. We got to bring one home once, Charlie. He got too big though and was eating my dad’s plants so we had to say goodbye to Charlie. Also, we got to see lots of little bunnies in the fields. That’s probably why I just love using a cute bunny hat in the studio too.
The grounds of Cams Hall are amazingly beautiful, so I can’t wait to be creative and take some maternity photographs outside in the spring. With warmer temperatures, it really feels great to be out in the fresh air. From the research that I did on the internet, there was a study by University of Michigan that found that spending time outside in the spring weather is a mood booster and changes the way people think. I totally agree. It really opens up people’s minds to information and creative thoughts.
I thought I would share with you some of the yellow props and outfits that have kept me busy in lockdown. I simply can’t wait to reopen so that I can get to use them in the studio.
