[vc_row][vc_column][az_column_text]Christmas season is fast approaching, and I still haven’t sorted all my presents. But are you like me and finding the perfect gift for special friends and family is always the most tricky part?
I always try to give gifts that are original, personal and show that I have put some thought behind my chosen purchase. I love to go on sites like Not On The High Street – even if it’s just to trigger my imagination. However, this year it has reminded me that I offer a very personal gift right here in my very own studio. I capture and record special events and save these memories forever.
Saving these moments with loved ones is such a great experience, and the beautiful images can be enjoyed for years to come – some images might even become family heirlooms. A photo shoot gift is perfect for anyone expecting a child, wanting to capture milestones, fun family shots or even simply to create artistic images for anyone’s home.[/az_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_single_image image=”834″][az_single_image image=”835″][az_single_image image=”836″][az_single_image image=”837″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_column_text]I know what you are thinking, surely this is a luxury present? This isn’t the cheapest of gifts, but this is a present that is unlike any other. It can’t be exchanged, replaced, copied, swapped or easily forgotten. The gift of photography is priceless and something you can’t just grab off a shelf at your local high street shop.
Newborn Photography is a growing trend – and rightfully so. You can only capture these moments once as it’s designed for babies just ten days or less. Anyone who has had a child will know if a mother has not organised, or thought about capturing this special moment before their baby is born, they will not have the time to set up a session once their baby is here. This moment will then be lost. By purchasing this session for someone for Christmas, it will make sure this doesn’t happen.
Children grow up right in front of our eyes, after one week, after three weeks, after six months – they grow, change and develop and there is nothing that we can do will stop them. Capturing these moments with a professional photographer will be the first ‘gift’ that you give to them (and yourself!). Children at all ages are so beautiful to photograph and this why I also offer ‘Little Ones’ photo sessions. Sitter portrait photo sessions mark the milestone when a baby is able to sit up confidently unsupported, usually between 6-10 months. It such a special time when this beautiful baby is developing their own personality and quick to smile and giggle. Sitting Session including 10″x8″ photograph costs £125 and I offer a wide range of beautiful art products are available ranging from £49 to £895

This was the perfect choice of prop for Ruby’s pictures. The finishing touch.
Creating this images is such a special experience Ruby’s mummy got very emotional when viewing the images I had captured of their daughter. Seeing tears in her eyes is such a lovely compliment, and I know I have created something they love.
I’m sure when mums-to-be first start to look round for a newborn photographer they may base their initial decision on the price as having a newborn baby is not cheap. But like with all purchases, quality varies with price and purchasing a shoot as a gift would be giving new parents a gift they may have just not considered due to important purchases like the new pram and car seat.
I’m sure if I asked Ruby’s mum now she would be pleased that she had invested in and money into having these beautiful newborn photographs taken. It is an important stage of her little girl’s life, one to record and if the session had been a gift from a loved one, she would have been over the moon.[/az_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_single_image image=”840″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_single_image image=”841″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_single_image image=”842″][az_single_image image=”843″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][az_column_text]We all want to give a gift that is special, and I appreciate that a photo shoot is not a run of the mill present and can be seen as a luxury. I offer a great service, giving better choices and lots of options when it comes to purchasing images after the shoot. The only problem I have with customers is with selecting the final pictures, taking artwork of stunning babies always creates this problem
As a guide, my clients spend £450-£1000 for a wall art and a mixture of digital images and prints. I know it’s not an insignificant spend, but I’ve never had anyone regret it. Lots of my clients tell me their newborn artwork is their most treasured possessions. If this gift is for a family member, maybe a few could collectively give the gift together making it a reasonable present for the new parents to be.
I make sure the experience is personal, capturing these special family memories. The photographs themselves make the investment truly worthwhile, making photography a magical gift for all this Christmas.
Happy Christmas everyone.
